Joe Prcela is the founder and Vice President of Operations for North Union Realty. He is responsible for leading all facets of real estate operations including real estate brokerage, investment sales, project management, and construction management.
Mr. Prcela has worked in the commercial real estate industry for over 20 years. He began his career as an architectural engineer, spending 4 years with a national A&E firm. He then went on to serve as a construction manager for 6 years building out office space for a national chemical company. His love of architecture and construction, coupled with his finance skills and networks in the real estate industry, were instrumental in his being sought out for a transactions and construction management position with a national insurance company.
In 2000, Mr. Prcela was recruited to head up the Midwest transactions and facilities department for a super regional Midwest bank. During his ten year tenure there, Mr. Prcela assumed progressively more responsible roles culminating with his appointment to lead a national site acquisition team, which successfully delivered 150 new bank branches over a three year period.
In May of 2011, Mr. Prcela joined RBS Citizens as Vice President and Head of Property Operations Midwest, where he championed a real estate project to position the Midwest portfolio for sale to another bank.
Mr. Prcela received his bachelors degree in Engineering from Ohio State University, with a minor in Economics, and is an Ohio licensed commercial real estate agent. He is the immediate Past President of the Ohio chapter of Corenet Global. Mr. Prcela is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. He serves his community as Chairman of the Board of Zoning Appeals for Mayfield Village, Ohio, and is actively involved in many philanthropic activities and coaching youth sports.
